Today Jericho and I learnt about the winter solstice. We had to make a animation on what a winter solstice is. Did you know that when it is summer the earth is tilted 23.5 degrees. And when it is winter some of the earth is not facing the sun.
I am a Year 8 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Learning Space 2 and my teachers are Ms Kirkpatrick and Mrs Anderson.

Winter Solstice in Switzerland
Today Jericho and I learnt about the winter solstice in Switzerland and how they would celebrate it. We had to use our research skills to find out the information about how the people in Switzerland. In Switzerland it is one of their favorite celebration because they get a lot of sun light and more heat.
