School production

This term we are celebrating the 60th birthday of Panmure Bridge School every class in our school had a decade our culture groups are involved as well. For our class we danced to Footloose I see red and Staying alive I liked the performances and it was fun doing them.

Kiwi can

Today for kiwi can be played hand soccer it was very interesting and i enjoyed it. Next we played a game called 10 down. You have to pass the ball to your team members and they have to touch the ground with the ball 10 times.

Scale drawing

Today I finished my scale drawing. I drew an animated character,  it took time to copy all the hair and color it in. We had to draw the grid lines on top of the original picture. Then we copied the original and made it twice as big. This is a 1:2 ratio.

The princess bride

This Term for our media study we have been learning about the Princess Bride. We had to learn about the prologue. What the main characters were and how the hummer was used in the story.

Party Vote jigsaw

This week we are learning about elections. For this activity we had to figure out the party names, the party leader, what they look like, the logo of the party and the locations of the signs for us to vote for them.

Read An EBOOK day

Today we used the Tamaki Collage Overdrive #Ebooklove. Today is read An Ebook day on 18 September. It is important increase our skills to learn more and get smarter I read a book called This is where it ends it is about a boy getting ready for a running race We are allowed to enjoy reading books in our free time.

Tech

Today for tech we had to do our designs on a peace of paper and when we are finished we are going to do our carving. I thought this was exciting because it was fun finding the patterns and drawing the patterns. I am excited to see what i'm doing next.

Kiwi Can: Taking Risks

Today  at Kiwi Can our lessen for today was risks we played a game called Hand soccer that had risks we also played a game called bib bob bounce. For Hand soccer the rules were not to hit the ball with your feet and try to get the ball into the goal. To play bib bob bounce you have to make a circle the person in the middle has to point to someone and say bib bob bounce if the person that he pointed to says bang the same time the person in the middle said bounce your safe. I thought it was hard not to wack the ground for hand soccer.

Learning to use synonyms

Today me and my writing group learnt to use synonyms. I worked with my partner Dallas. We had to change the boring words into interesting words using synonyms. We thought of different words that mean the same thing to make our sentences more noticeable. I thought this was exciting because we had to look for the synonyms using google dictionary then make sure they made sense in the sentence.

Food Tech

Today I went to Food Tech what we made was Beef Cobbler they were delicious. Me and my partner Freeman were partners today because our partners are away.  It was awesome to make I had a good time making them and I want to know what i'm doing  next week.  

Read Theory

Today my class did Read Theory we had to read a quiz and answer the question this story was about a kid called Max. Max was getting books while his Mum was checking her email. When his Mum came back he check  out his book and his Mum brought a picture of the ocean and that she can keep that for 3 months. I got 71%.

Tech

Today is our third rotation. My group went to Art one of the things we did was shading the shapes example: there is a box we had to shade the the dark side and don't shade the other halve. Next week we are doing  our patterns and when we are finished we are going to carve the patterns we made.
